In order to help promote, strengthen and expand the Grand Prairie business community, the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce will be recognizing new Chamber members each month here in the Grand Prairie Reporter, and will spotlight one new business. The year started off strong for the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce, as ten new businesses became Chamber Members in January.

This month’s spotlighted new member is Styles of India, located at 4136 South Carrier Parkway, Suite 560, here in Grand Prairie.   Styles of India is a salon that specializes in eyebrow threading, waxing and facials.  Eyebrow Threading is a practice of shaping the eyebrows using a cotton thread.  The twisting action of the thread traps the hair and lifts it out of the follicle. It’s a very gentle, sanitary, and painless way of removing unwanted facial Hair.  Owner Amandeep Singh has been operating the salon for about two months now, and loves her central location here in Grand Prairie.  Singh joined the Chamber as a way to meet new clients and grow her business, and she welcomes everyone to stop by and visit or give her a call at 972-262-9800.

Other businesses that joined the Chamber in January include Destined for Greatness Christian Academy, Pancho Tacos, Reverend Kedric McKnight, Armendariz Insurance Agency, Latina Broadcasters of Texas, Chokas Brothers, Store Service, Inc., Max Coleman for City Council and Avon Products District 1722.  For more information about the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce please contact Greg Cashman at 972-264-1558 or visit www.grandprairiechamber.org.
